Good fusion food. Devil chicken fried rice is where it's at
Rook is not your regular Sri Lankan restaurant. Set in the prime shipping district of Geelong, this place is fusion at its best! Sri Lankan flavours have not lost their authenticity in the attempt to meet Aussie taste buds. Yeti and Dee are the warmest hosts you could meet with the most friendly staff behind them.. they never fail to make you welcome and suggest the best choice on the menu suited to your taste. It's a family friendly venue with enough distractions for kids. The warm and toasty restaurant is just the place to go for a cold winters evening with friends and family. Definitely a must do if you are in Geelong.
Amazing coffee. Relaxing atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff, but not in your face. Food was really good too. Not expensive. Perfect spot to hideaway on a hot summer day
First visit to a Sri Lankan breakfast. The food was yummo. Coffee was great too. Was cool to see the chef show so the passion in preparing the food.
My sister and I went to Rook the other night and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was spectacular. We shared the special weekend dish (I can't remember the name!) and it came wrapped in a banana leaf. This is my favourite restaurant in Geelong by far.
