Held my 21st on the rooftop. Booked a number of months in advance however had a lot of questions and queries leading up to the event so I would be frequently emailing James. He was great, replied to me promptly and clearly. The actual night was fantastic. All my guests raved about the finger food, the sound-system was clear and went nice and loud for later in the night. The staff working at the bar and handing out food were fantastic. So friendly, helpful and willing to assist in any way they could to make my night one to remember. I didn't have any problems or complaints on the night, and looking back could not have chosen a better venue. Definitely recommend for any function!

Went to the top level 2 for a function. Now such an impressive venue. Finger food was very nice and well presented. Selection of drinks also. Would recommend for function room on top.
I recently held my 40th Birthday party in the dining room at the National Hotel. It was such a great night. From the very beginnings of my dealings with James to the goodbye at the end of the night, everything was a huge success. James is a pleasure to deal with, very attentive, professional and personable. My guests raved about the food and there was a lot to eat, and also about how lovely the staff where, they were very impressed. I would highly recommend the National hotel to anyone looking for a space for a special event. Thanks James and crew. It was awesome.
We had our engagement party at The National Hotel, and we can't thank James and his team enough. James was super helpful with everything throughout the organising process and on the night he and his team were awesome! Even helping us move rooms last minute because of the weather. Great food options, incredibly well priced, and a great choice of drinks available to our guests. Highly recommended. Also, definitely get the mini cheeseburgers, so good!
