Tried to get help today for the first rates notice I have received in my life, that I got with 1 week to pay. Tried to go online to organise payment and set up to pay fortnightly so I don't get that again but it wouldn't work I was directed to call. The lady I spoke to was so rude and so inconsiderate In the way she spoke to me. Like I was stupid for not understanding how they work when I have never done this before. She didn't explain anything just told me I was wrong and what I can't do. She also told me I received an email with the rates which I did not and that I don't receive paper ones which I did and currently have in my hand. She was awful and should not be working in customer service. I'm not an idiot I just wanted the process explained to me. Good work on being a really top person

81$ parking fine! Fair crack of the whip, not all visitors to Geelong would appreciate that Melb Cup is not a local public holiday. Why then were most Geelong CBD businesses closed? Why not go to the trouble of including a message on your electronic parking-ticket machines saying that parking fees still apply as Melb Cup is not a PH (not an ambiguous and contestable (if I had the time!) message saying that "fees do not apply on weekends and PH")? Still haven't received a reply to my feedback.

If these people did not have government jobs they would not be employed. No return correspondence - will not reply to calls and when a reply is sent via email - It is always sent on the last 2 minutes of the day ( so 4.58pm etc ) Is it no wonder that businesses are closing in Geelong and relocating to other areas.......
