Took my middle son in to take his learners test at Geelong vic Roads and we arrived 15 min early so we checked in and were told that the person who usually works at that counter was on a break and to go sit down until called up. Well 40min went by and I had to cut back in line to enquire and then they just said oh and checked all of his documents. No apology, nothing. The people serving have no manners, no accountability, no personality. How hard is it to say good morning!! or be kind.I ended up having to go home to locate the correct birth certificate and left my son there to sit the test. I ran out of time had to pick him up and then go to work. Thankfully he passed but I had to return the next day with his birth certificate and was served by a droll zombie woman who had the personality of a brick wall. If she walked any slower it would have been backwards. She complained that his file should not have been on hold for a day but we ended up having it all sorted in the end. Unfortunately it was a very negative experience and the people that served us were terrible at customer service.
Vicroads must want the place to look busy because every time I go to vicroads it seems that most of the seats for customers are occupied but often only half the terminals are staffed. maybe if all the terminals we staffed most of the time most of the customers seats would be vacant and there would be less waiting around like idiots it's a pain in the arse
Always a painful experience. Considering there are 200,000 people in Geelong, the service centre is far too small and inefficient. Nothing beats wasting my day waiting at Vic Roads.
Possibly the worst Chinese food Ive ever eaten, my son got so sick after eating the sweet and sour pork! I wouldnt recommend anyone to eat her not even a dog! Service was good!
1. Very confusing for customers who booked an appointment prior to opening hours as there is no way into the building without a member of staff by chance seeing you and then letting you in.2. Staff have minimal knowledge of interstate licencing procedures.3. Communication and taking of notes with regards to customers also has room to improve to ensure that customers are not repeating themselves to the multiple staff members they may encounter to get something done. Two stars for a general positive attitude.
