The Strand is a beautiful place, to walk along the beach, or up on the path all the way along or just sit and look out at the ocean, breathing it all in. There are safe swimming spots where the jellyfish can't get you and play areas for the kid. There are places along the Strand to get food. Well worth going to.

A nice group of shops in the strand, but the main piece is Woolies. Always great deals, plenty of parking and nice public toilets.
